The company was started in 1995 by Igor SOLART. ORSOL is a firm that specialises in the manufacture of high quality upmarket architectural elements to enhance the home. Bertrand Hemery was appointed at the beginning of 2007 as the General Manager.

Today ORSOL is the leading French company in cast stone products and employs over 50 people. The company's turnover in 2007 was 8 m euros. ORSOL's growth is in double figures every year and its aim is 15 m euros turnover in three years' time.

ORSOL products are distributed by all the major decoration firms and shops in France and abroad, notably in the United States. They have made the company a success and we now have over 3,000 clients.

Igor SOLART (ORSOL CEO) has aimed for a strategy of growth and today ORSOL, the specialist in cast stone, has its marketing headquarters in Bordeaux (Mérignac 33) : NEC Distribution - Négociateur Expert Conseiller.

At Mérignac (Gironde) NEC Distribution is located in an area with good transport connections (airport, TGV). This strategic location is part of a project to reinforce the distribution network of ORSOL brand products.
